We're off to a great start!

Welcome, parents! We just completed week four and are off to a great start! Every couple of weeks I will update our classroom blog to show you all the learning (and fun!) we are doing in first grade!

This week was all about incorporating snacks into our learning! We used Fruit Loops to help us with the short o sound.

 

We've also been learning all about solid figures. We had a Shapes Party to wrap up our first Math Topic! What a blast! Thank you to all parents who provided food for our party. We had a great time! Can you guess which Solid Figure was used with each snack? :)

We also used geoboards and apps on the ipad to help with our learning!
